Our big British breakfast in Sale was a huge success as it raised more than £1,300 for The Kirsty Club.

The Fat Loaf Restaurant in Ashton-upon-Mersey welcomed more than 100 people to the event, including Kirsty Howard, as they all tucked into a full English breakfast cooked by Sale chef John Ratcliff, who once worked for acclaimed chef Marco Pierre White, was pleased with the success of the event which raised £1,305.

“I was delighted to personally support The Kirsty Club who help build a brighter future for the children at Francis House Children’s Hospice in Didsbury. It was also great to see Kirsty.”

Phil Taylor, campaign manager for The Kirsty Club, said: “The breakfast was a huge success and I would like to thank John, the Fat Loaf, Keri Hannigan from Cakes by Keri and everyone else who helped support the event either on the day or beforehand.”
