What a fantastic evening was had by all who attended The Simon Dunn Chocolatier event on Monday 23rd May. Massive thanks to all involved but mainly Oliver & Simon Dunn who worked so hard; and also to our Patron Russell Watson who gave up his time the night before he flew to Japan to start his tour. The evening raised a massive £4720, so thank you to everyone who helped us reach this figure.

It’s still some way off, but Kirsty will be 16 years old on Friday September 16th 2011, and we’ll be celebrating in style as usual. This year we’ll be at Suede Nightclub in Manchester for a fun, grown-up party to celebrate Kirsty’s 16 years. We hope you can make it. Details coming soon.

A massive thank you to all our wonderful Bupa Great Manchester Runners, who came out in support on a cold, wet and windy day yesterday. This is an important fundraiser for The Kirsty Club so thank you all once again.

Apologies for a further change of date for our “Evening with Russell and Kirsty”. Due to very important international commitments, Russell is flying to Japan on Tuesday 24th May. Therefore we have decided to bring the event forward 24 hours to Monday the 23rd May at 7pm. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and if you find that you are unable to make the new date then please let us know (call Phil on 07900 497067) and we will send you a full refund, and use the tickets for guests that are on our waiting list. Russell is one of our hardest working patrons and we respect and admire him and totally understand his work commitments.

Prime Minister David Cameron and Boris Becker supported The Kirsty Club over the Bank Holiday by playing tennis with the two very generous ladies who bought our auction prize— Sharon Kettle and Caroline Wynn. The tennis match took place at Chequers on Saturday 30th April and was won by David Cameron with his mixed doubles partner Caroline. Thank you so much to everyone who helped put this incredible prize together.
