Proposed Extension for Francis House Unveiled

Manchester Town Hall hosted the unveiling of the proposed extension to Francis House Children’s Hospice last night and support came from many dignitaries and supporters and along with Kirsty and Sir Alex Ferguson. The work is due to commence 2012 and will costs £3.6million and will increase the capacity at the hospice to help more families who have children with short life expectancy.

Thank you so much to All Saints Primary School in Sale who put on a wonderful production of Oliver over several nights, Kirsty was able to attend the show on Thursday 9th June and thoroughly enjoyed every minute—in fact, she was still singing the songs on the way home. Many thanks to the Head, Teachers, Staff and all the cast and children that helped make such a professional performance a sell out.

A Fabulous Chocolate Evening

What a fantastic evening was had by all who attended The Simon Dunn Chocolatier event on Monday 23rd May. Massive thanks to all involved but mainly Oliver & Simon Dunn who worked so hard; and also to our Patron Russell Watson who gave up his time the night before he flew to Japan to start his tour. The evening raised a massive £4720, so thank you to everyone who helped us reach this figure.

A Date for Your Diary

by Phil Taylor

It’s still some way off, but Kirsty will be 16 years old on Friday September 16th 2011, and we’ll be celebrating in style as usual. This year we’ll be at Suede Nightclub in Manchester for a fun, grown-up party to celebrate Kirsty’s 16 years. We hope you can make it. Details coming soon.

Thank You Runners

A massive thank you to all our wonderful Bupa Great Manchester Runners, who came out in support on a cold, wet and windy day yesterday. This is an important fundraiser for The Kirsty Club so thank you all once again.
